| We get a lot of sunlight here, and I mean a lot. My leaves take in the sunlight and Carbon Dioxide. My roots suck up water and soil nutrients. The water and nutrients are carried up through my trunk up to my leaves through the xylem part of my veins. The sunlight, Carbon Dioxide, Water, and nutrients go through this small cell called a chloroplast, it then converts the items into glucose(simple sugar), yum, and oxygen, the glucose then travels through the phloem part of my veins to other parts of my tree body to promote growth. The oxygen travels through the Stomata of the leaf, which is like a human mouth. |
